Software Engineer based in the Netherlands, working full-stack on production systems with real users. Currently studying for a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Twente (2026–2029) alongside engineering work.

Short term: combine the MSc with hands-on engineering so research and production sharpen each other. Long term: keep growing into deeper platform and product roles where reliability, scale, and product judgment all matter.

Development philosophy

Code is only half the job. The other half is reading the system around it — the team, the data, the users, the live state — and making changes that don't surprise any of them. I prefer small, reversible steps over big rewrites, and explicit behavior over clever abstractions.

• Shipped client-facing work on an IKEA platform that was already serving live markets
• Supported expansion work for 4 additional European markets
• Took on ambiguous cross-stack work and learned to read large production systems faster
• Protected live behavior while handling hotfixes, privacy-sensitive fixes, and release checks
• Delivered across UI, backend services, integrations, queues, and cloud environments
• Migrated legacy WPF applications to cross-platform MVU architecture (F# / Elmish)
